I live in New Jersey and I have heard that it is illegal to open a sportsbook account, and that if the sportsbook rips you off, there is no way for the government to get your money back since it is "illegal" in New Jersey.

Now I'm only 18 so if I did open up a sportsbook account I would not be betting more than $50-$100 total a week, but do you think that it is safe for me to open an account, and if so, on what website would you suggest?

Sherman is right bro, if you get ripped off noone is going to help you out, especially the government...so it's up to you whether you take the risk or not...If I were you I'd look for an agent around NJ to hook me up with a good sportbook..

P.S If he doesnt pay, you can go and break his legs:lolBIG:

pick a reputable book like: Bowmans, Pinnacle, Olympic, Cris - check out the message boards about the online books, and only keep in them what you can afford to lose. lots of safe books out there,
